During July 14-20, 2008, Geezer, Todd and I will join other Carreraistas racing the Pike's Peak International Hill Climb in Colorado Springs. We will be launching Moriah up one of the tallest peaks in Colorado and one of the highest roads in the nation. Moriah has recovered from her antics at the Chihuahua Express in April - she is rebuilt, painted, shiny, smiling and ready to go! We are really looking forward to hanging out with our fellow vintage racer friends and having some fun on the mountain. Even though I only knew Jerry in passing from the last two years of La Carrera, it struck me with clarity how connected we all are to each other, and in this case through our shared adventures at La Carrera.
