2010 Chihuahua Express: The Mustangs To Go Lineup

With yesterday's drive-by shooting of three people with ties to the American Consulate in the drug-plagued border town of Juarez, Mexico, the U.S. Department of State has issued a travel warning for the Mexican states of Chihuahua, Coahuila and Durango.

This week as we head to the 3-day Chihuahua Express, we will be crossing the border near Big Bend National Park about 300 miles southeast of Juarez - we send blessings of safe travel to everyone headed down for the race. As the Mexican highway signs say,"Maneje con precaucion. Tu familia te espera."(Drive with precaution. Your family awaits you.)

The 2010 Chihuahua Express Mustangs To Go Lineup:

The Bag O'Nails (2008 1st Place Historica C, Tyzack/Jefferies) has a proud new owner, Mr. Thierry de Latre du Bosqueau of Belgium. Thierry and copiloto Eric Werner, also from Belgium will give the BON a go at the Chihuahua Express this weekend!

Mustangs To Go will also be supporting Dennis DeLaughter from Houston and Eugen Viehof from Germany in DeLaughter's Mustang convertible.

We last spotted DeLaughter at a gas station on Day 4 of the 2008 LCP, having had a little trouble in the mountains between Queretaro to San Luis.

And finally we'll be keeping an eye on the infamous #395! We hope Fernando returns from China in time to copilot with Gerie in the Durango Deuce!
